We finally got our wish fulfilled: to visit a local school and make River flags with Nepali kids, thanks to our new friend Milan Simkhada. He took us to Prominent Kids Montesori school, and introduced Oliver and me to the beautiful principal Nashua. We hung flags in the yard and two classes of six year olds came out and sat under the flags. They are cute as buttons and creative as gifts. Now we have a banner from the Dudh Kosi: the Milk River from Nepal!
